Personal Income Tax Document List:

➤ S.I.N. (Social Insurance Number)

➤ T4, T4A, T5, T3… (all taxable slips)

➤ Name, address and Date of Birth (the same for the family if it applies)

➤ Medical expenses: Dentist, medical exams, pharmacy receipts (only prescriptions)

➤ Donations receipts

➤ Union receipts

➤ RRSP receipts

➤ Rent receipts (with landlord’s name, amount paid and how many months lived in the address for the year) or

➤ Property Tax paid for the year

➤ Interest earned on investments or paid for loan’s investments in the year

➤ School/Courses receipts if each receipt is over $100

➤ If bought a house and is a First Time Buyer: complete address and date of purchase

➤ If sold a house: Date sold, Amount sold, Year of purchase and if it was Principal Residence or not

➤ List of Properties/Investments outside Canada if more than $100K in total

➤ Income: total with or without GST/HST (Bank Statements), T4A, T5018 slip

➤ Purchases: materials/supplies and tools

➤ Expenses:

⎈ car repairs, gas, insurance, plates renewal, parking, 407 ETR, lease payments, advertising, telephone, promotions and donations, employees/helpers wages, meals & entertainment, business fees/licences, delivery, freight and express, office expenses, legal and accounting, rentals and everything that is related to the business expenses

⎈ Plus personal expenses:
